Royalties

How does one measure success? Is it based on royalties and recognition? Books sold, counted, and measured?

Perhaps.

For me, it is the simple pleasure that my words exist in a real way. They are accessible on my book shelf, waiting to be discovered, and for me- that's all that matters. :) Name in lights? Shoot for the stars? Well, you always should. But I am grateful that something I worked so hard on came to fruition. It's made of ink and heart and I can read it whenever I want- and so can you.
